Why God Wants You to Be Economically Free
I was reading the Financial Times Weekend Edition, and one of my favorite sections is called Small Talk, where they talk to a writer virtually every week, and ask them more or less the same questions. It’s interesting just to see the variation in the responses.
One of the questions they ask from time-to-time is, “What does it mean to be a writer?”
Now do you ever have one of those moments where you’re listening to, reading or thinking about something and you say, “Oh, my God?” It’s like a “revelatory moment”?
Well, I had one when I read this article .
This writer’s answer to that question was:
“To have my days to myself.”
And it came to me: that’s why I was frustrated in all those “corporate” jobs: I know that God wants me to have my days to myself - NO! to Himself - to do all to and for His glory!
That’s why He wants us to be free, to be a Christian entrepreneur according to His purpose (see Romans 8:28), so that we can do more for Him without being weighted down by the economic chains of the world!

I just found your new blog and it looks great. I like the idea of blogging about your faith and entrepreneurship. A part of God’s plan for us is to prosper.

Thanks for the encouragement, and please “stay tuned”.
I’ve got some (hopefully) interesting topics coming!
