Christian, You Can Be Free From Your Job!
Coryan has an interesting take on starting a business while working…he’s coined the term, “jobpreneuring”.
As I said previously, Paul said:
Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you–although if you can gain your freedom, do so. - 1 Cor. 7:21 (NIV)
This doesn’t mean, if you currently have a job, to just up-and-quit. “Gaining” my freedom has the concept of getting it not necessarily all-at-once, but little-by-little:
…he that gathereth by labor shall increase. - Proverbs 13:11(b)(KJV)
That word “gathereth” in the Hebrew means to collect; in other words, to get some, and then get some more, and then get some more. So, not all at once but little-by-little.
This is what I think Coryan is talking about when he’s talking about jobpreneuring, so check out his article and let me know what you think.

Wow, I think you’ve said it better than me. This is exactly what I am talking about. Too often we don’t follow our calling because we think we have to do it all at once. But sometimes we need to just start taking the steps and let God lead where he will. That is what I am doing with my jobrepreneuing experience…stepping out and letting God lead. I can keep my day job and start a business on the side.
